Perhaps after 4 months drop of average 0.1? per month, the time has come to seek the Prime Minister’s explanation for her declaration of a Climate Crisis?
Dear Judith Collins
May I remind you that you warned the PM to be careful during the election campaign? If I remember correctly you reminded us of the role played by carbon dioxide in photosynthesis, which to my mind reinforced the fact it is essential for all life on earth and not a pollutant.
Also, the climate can just as easily get cold as hot. It seems to me that your statements are now proven correct. Global average temperatures are dropping like a stone, even though the drop is so far of short duration. If the fall continues at this rate for the remainder of 2021, this could even prove to be somewhere between bad and disastrous. Fortunately, New Zealand will likely be insulated from the worst effects for a few years due to our maritime climate. Enough time for this dispute to be examined in a court of competent jurisdiction.
