Sometimes, the predators hide in plain sight, with the aid of camouflage. Consider a pussy-hatted Harvey Weinstein protesting at a Women’s March in 2017. Or woke male feminist Neil Gaiman. Or any of a long, long roster of ‘male feminists’ who were exposed as abusers and predators.
Indeed, it seems the reason left-wing feminists think all men are awful is because they judge all men by the awful left-wing men they surround themselves with.
This week, though, an even more horrific predator hiding in plain sight was busted.
Four Australians remain locked up after being charged for alleged involvement in a satanic child sex abuse material ring.
If that sounds like a QAnon fever-dream, horrifically it’s (allegedly!) all too real.
Detectives busted an apparent Sydney-based paedophile network they allege was actively involved in possessing, distributing and facilitating child sexual abuse involving ritualistic or satanic themes.
NSW Police executed six search warrants across Sydney late last week, including in Waterloo, where they arrested 26-year-old Landon Germanotta-Mills.
Germanotta-Mills, who police allege played a leading role in the group, was charged with numerous offences, including making available child abuse, possession of child abuse and disseminating and possessing bestiality material.
And who is Landon Germanotta-Mills? As it turns out, a purple-haired, cross-dressing, ‘queer’ activist and super-woke journalist.
One of the alleged ringleaders of the group is woke journalist and queer activist Landon Germanotta-Mills, who runs the “Underground Media Network” news site on Substack. The publication claims to “expose” racism and center the stories of victims, including child victims. Germanotta-Mills also published content covering an Antifa demonstration in Sydney.
Germanotta-Mills’ site indeed includes a lot of material railing against child abusers, but the outrage seems to focus almost solely on police offenders.
That might be fair enough: after all, police, as priests were, are uniquely entrusted to ‘serve and protect’. ‘Uphold the right’. And so on. When police break that trust, especially when they use their power to enable their abuse, it’s an especially egregious crime.
If only such high-minded ideals fuelled the “Underground Media Network”. Rather, it seems motivated more by hatred of police.
Certainly, we now (allegedly!) know, genuine concern for children’s welfare wasn’t it.
The rest of the site runs the usual gamut of woke ‘causes’: ‘Aboriginal’ issues, hatred of ‘White Australia’, animal rights, and so on.
The site has only been running for the past eight months.
Detectives from the Child Exploitation Internet Unit, executed six search warrants across the suburbs of Sydney, including Waterloo, Ultimo and Malabar on Nov. 27. The operation resulted in dozens of arrests and seizure of devices allegedly containing thousands of graphic content showing the sexual abuse of infants and children. Some of the abuse content involved animals, police said.
Mr Germanotta-Mills, who identifies as an independent journalist, is charged with providing a “carriage service” to make child-abuse material available, accessing the material, possessing child-abuse content, as well as counts related to dissemination and possession of bestiality content.
During the raid, officers used a battering ram to enter Germanotta-Mills’ Waterloo apartment near Sydney.
The ring allegedly did not record or make the abuse content; instead, the “Satanic ring” is accused of functioning as a distribution hub.
All four suspects have been denied bail and are scheduled to appear in court in January 2026.
Certainly, sometimes muckraking (in the original, complimentary sense of the term, meaning those who rake through the muck to expose wrongdoing) journalists have to get their hands dirty. For instance, crusading anti-paedophile journalists like Roisin Michaux have had to trawl through some pretty dark places in order to bring to light what these predatory creeps get up to in the dark.
But (allegedly!) disseminating and distributing what sounds like truly horrific material seems to be wallowing, rather than wading.
