Dr. Lance O’Sullivan used to be an up and coming star, not only in the medical world, but in the political world too. He was being considered as a potential leader of the Maori Party. He even had discussions with Act and possibly National but really liked The Opportunities Party whose “aspirations and common sense approach” he admired. I wonder if he is still considers himself to be the Great Brown Political Saviour?
Dr Lance has had a bit of a rough time of it recently. First we had his video castigation, where from behind his $2 Shop sanding mask he abused his fellow indigene’s for being useless buggers by not staying locked up in their whares. He then broke the same lockdown provisions by heading out for a sneaky Level 4 kayak excursion when he should’ve been staying in his own camper waka, an incident that lead to him declaring himself publicly to be a “dick” and a “silly bastard”, yet we now hear about his uncontrolled, violent, brick heaving side.
A side that has ended up with him being charged in the District Court with Intentional Damage after he deliberately smashed the window of someone elses vehicle, simply because he was angry at said vehicle being parked in a handicap park without a permit, outside a movie theatre in Rotorua on March 13th this year.
O’Sullivan took to Facebook to try and explain his actions and how he came to form his evil criminal intent, which I suppose is laudable but does come across as a bit ‘woe is me, I’m a victim too‘.
The old saying ‘explaining is losing’ comes to mind but I’m sure the people who vote for the Maori Party will find it all very endearing. Who knows, maybe it might encourage them to actually get off the couch and vote this year now that they can vote for a real live crim and get weed legalised at the same time.
Dr Lance O’Sullivan’s Facebook explanation. Now with extra Mum.
But good news for Dr Lance though, he’s been granted diversion, so it looks like after paying the complainant for the costs involved in smashing their window and carrying out some ‘Anger Management’ education, he will still be resolutely free of one of those pesky criminal records.
Still, if he really want’s to earn some cred, maybe even score a plum Green Party list position, he could get involved in some of that ANTIFA protest action, they will welcome him with open arms what with his sweet brick chucking skills. Mind you, they are pretty much just skinny little Pakeha kids from Remuera and homeless nutters so probably not really his kind. Nah, stick with the Bros Lance, that gravy train is where your future lies.
So where to now for Dr Lance? Back in Feb 2018 he stated when talking to Teao Maori News that he was still deciding what direction he’d take his political ambition.
To be honest it’s unclear for me at the moment what role and my involvement in politics will look like in the 2020 election. (sic) I can almost guarantee there will be a role in the 2020 election, what that role might be, I’m just not sure what that will look like.
Well I guess that will remain to be seen. Perhaps it may be better if he lies low for a bit and waits for 2023.
But in any case, Dr Lance needs to find a better way of voicing his frustrations surrounding these type of parking related issues. If only there was a way of getting his point across without having to resort to such neanderthal like violence.
Well ask and you shall receive. It is clearly time to bring back The BFD Parking Infringement Notice. Please find below an image that you can all copy, print out and leave under the wiper of an offending vehicle. Feel free to grab a quick picture of the offending parking and flick it to us here at The BFD, you never know, we might make the person a little bit famous for you.
Oh, and Doctor Lance, having your Mum doing the dishes in the back of that video kind of makes it a bit weird. You’ve got to understand that if you do ever make it to parliament, we would be contracturally obliged to remorselessly rip on you for that sort of amateurish mistake.
Lift your game fella.
