The BFD will still operate over the holiday period with General Debate and Backchat open for the community to use. It will be a great time to catch up on any articles that you missed over the past year.
Our Bronze level subscribers will continue to have access each morning to our Crossword, Sudoku and Codecracker puzzles and our Silver level and above subscribers will continue to have access to both the puzzles and to Insight articles.
The holiday period is the perfect time to finally get around to signing up for a BFD subscription so that you can enjoy the puzzles and finally get to read the insightful Insight posts.
Everything on The BFD is helpfully organised by category, so you can browse all the articles on American politics, for example.
If you enjoy doing quizzes there are plenty for you to choose from.
The holiday period is also a great time for you to master using the search function on the website. Look for the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the home page.
Click on the magnifying glass icon to make the search box appear.
Type in your keyword (I used Simon as my example) and then all articles with that keyword in them will appear underneath in a list.
Do you have a favourite BFD author? Have you noticed that up the top of the home page you can click where it says AUTHORS to get a drop-down list of all the regular BFD authors? You can then select your favourites in order to browse everything that they have written for The BFD.
Do you enjoy political cartoons and photoshops? You can browse all the cartoons and photoshops as well.
