Despite decades of evidence we put to them, in November 2020, MFAT officials told us they were waiting for an EU-funded report “and will work with other donor countries to assess the implications”.
That report was due in Dec 2020 but was delayed and the European Commission have kept the report under wraps since receiving it earlier this year. But it has now been leaked to the media.
The results are consistent with previous reviews of the curriculum, finding children are taught with dozens of examples of encouragement of violence and demonization of Israel and of Jews.
New Zealand is due to hand over another $1m before the end of this month unless MFAT officials finally accept the money goes toward furthering and inflaming the conflict and that is not consistent with Kiwi principles of aid-giving.
