Face of the Day

At the end of the press conference at Wellington’s railway station on Tuesday morning, a man who looked to be heading to work after his morning commute started yelling at the deputy prime minister.

People stopped to watch the terse exchange between the pair which began when the man was heard saying “you’re a load of bollocks, Winston”. Peters replied “you look like bollocks, go look in the mirror sunshine”. Then the heckler replied “you’re a tosser”.

The pair started yelling at each other, with Peters yelling “naff off”.

“You’re 80 years old now, isn’t it time you naffed off,” the heckler responded. Peters replied: “So it’s an age thing, is it? You look older than I do”.

Then the heckler said “you lick Trump’s asshole, get out of here”.

The interaction lasted for more than 30 seconds, before the press conference was ended and both parties started to move on.
