On her way to the debating chamber, Chlöe Swarbrick said she met with Speaker Gerry Brownlee ahead of question time. It appears they were unable to agree on a way forward.
Swarbrick was just kicked out of the House, again, when she refused to apologise for saying Government MPs were “spineless”.
Brownlee moved to “name” Swarbrick in the debating chamber. MPs then voted to suspend Swarbrick from the House, and the coalition MPs – which have the numbers – voted to do so.
She called out “free Palestine” as she left.
