After serving as New Zealand’s prime minister for close to a decade, Helen Clark took up a global leadership role heading the United Nations Development Program for eight years.

Now, she’s lobbying for the UN Secretary General’s post, which she missed out on in 2016 and becomes vacant at the end of the year, to be given to a woman.
