Maori Party co-Leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer has called new National leader Todd Muller a racist.
“Muller is showing himself as a racist who has no respect for tangata whenua needs,”
Seriously?
How many hats is Muller going to have to put in a box at the back of the closet before the ridiculous and baseless accusations stop?
The answer of course is that the accusations will not stop precisely because he faltered at the very first hurdle of the MAGA hat.
His political opponents can now call him whatever they like secure in the knowledge that instead of brushing them off or treating the accusation with the contempt it deserves he will try to defend and/or explain himself. Putting his MAGA hat in the box was the beginning of the end for Muller. Put a fork in him, he’s done.
Today’s face of the day Maori Party co-Leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer can accuse him of anything she likes as a political stunt to get her name in the paper. She knows he hasn’t got the stones to stand up to her.
