In this video clip on 1 News today’s face of the day historian Peter Lineham calls New Zealanders an ?ignorant society? because 76% supported keeping the name Crusaders in a recent Colmar Brunton poll.

The 14% who wanted the name changed according to the poll were mainly people in the $150,000+ income bracket and were Labour Party supporters.

Those people described as an “ignorant society” by Historian Pete Lineham were mainly people from Otago & Southland, were National party supporters and were in the 18-29 year old age bracket.
