Today’s face of the day looks orange to me. It is sobering to realise that if he had been dressed as President Trump the people currently calling for his head on a pike would be laughing their virtue signalling little heads off in approval, ’cause it is always okay to make fun of white orange people.
He wasn’t dressed as Trump, though, so one self-righteous little so and so is calling it blackface.
The person who sent the photos said:
“Here are some pictures of him (CEO of the largest media company in New Zealand) dressed in blackface at a recent Christmas party. Not only is that disgusting in itself, he wore hospital attire to the party too …. as Lamar Odom had been in hospital critically ill at the time.”
The only reason I am laughing myself silly over the current blackface controversy with Justin Trudeau is because ‘progressive’ politicians like him are offended by blackface and see racism everywhere. Politicians like him like to trawl through the pasts of conservative politicians in order to find something to be shocked about and to try to damage their ‘brands’.
The fact that Stuff has attacked Michael Boggs of NZME for wearing orangeface in the past is just pathetic. Next, they will find a photo of the editor of The BFD (Moi) and will publicly shame me for wearing….gulp… dresses with shoulder pads and having a spiral perm! Yes, it’s true! I admit it. I had BIG hair back then. I refuse to do the ‘Progressive’ thing, though, and apologise for my crimes against fashion. We conservatives are funny like that.
