Yesterday Jack Tame interviewed Broadcasting Minister Willie Jackson on the merger of TVNZ and RNZ.

The new entity – an “autonomous Crown entity” – will have less independence than the individual entities do in their current forms.

Tame questioned whether the merger is a waste of time and money, especially if Kiwis don’t trust the new entity.
