Below is a tweet from Julie Anne Genter saying that “anti-trans BS comes from radical right wing Christian fascist movement”. This is incredibly insulting to Christians and yet another attack on Christianity. I doubt she would dare the same sort of comment about Islam.
This comment is way up there with Marama Davidson’s comment blaming all violence in the world on white cis men. We should not have people like this in our parliament.
I’m a woman and most of my colleagues in the Green Party are. We aren’t the least bit threatened by trans people having their existence recognised. The anti-trans BS comes from radical right wing Christian fascist movement. Try some compassion.
