The Media have been gunning for Israel Folau and now that they have got hold of footage of comments he made while in church they are going to make the most of them. He didn’t make them publicly or on social media. He made them in church but that is not going to stop the media generating as much outrage and offence as possible.
He popped his head above the parapet and the media have shot it off. No doubt they will ride this story for weeks.
He got away with it, then.
