Some women who have handed over cash to Theresa Gattung’s new elite matchmaking service, Compatico, told Stuff they had not had one match yet, and asked if this was because there were not enough men to go around.
“A group of us haven’t had even one match since joining, and are questioning whether it’s because there are not enough men,” said one romantic hopeful, who Stuff agreed not to name.
The Compatico member told Stuff she had not heard from the company since joining several months ago until today when members received an emailed “newsletter” which arrived after Stuff asked questions about numbers of men.
She said she did not know until Stuff clarified with the company, that paying for membership did not guarantee a match, although this is disclosed in terms on the company’s website.
