The Britpop brothers have long been at odds – but with rumours of a reunion circulating, can they put to bed their decades-long beef? With Oasis Vol. 2 possibly imminent, the Herald takes a look back at the Gallagher feud.
Fifteen years after brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher called time on a little project called Oasis, a comeback could “definitely, maybe” be on the cards – if the two can finally put an end to their feuding.
On Monday, the Gallaghers each posted a flickering 11-second video of the date “27.08.24″, followed by “8am” (7pm NZST) – in the same font and style as Oasis’ branding – to their social media accounts. The same clip was also shared to Oasis’ official Instagram, fuelling already rampant speculation a reunion was forthcoming.
