Billionaire X owner Elon Musk has warned that the Great Replacement has “already occurred” in response to the shrinking white populations of European cities.
The billionaire made the comment on his social media platform on Wednesday while quoting a post from an account called End Wokeness, which broke down demographic changes in selected cities from 1955 to 2025.
According to the quoted post, Brussels went from 95 per cent native Belgian background to 21 per cent, London went from 97 per cent British to 36 per cent, Amsterdam went from 98 per cent Dutch to 40 per cent, Berlin went from 98 per cent German to 57 per cent, Vienna went from 95 per cent to 51 per cent, and Stockholm went from 97 per cent to 65 per cent.
“Objectively, the ‘Great Replacement’ has already occurred,” Musk wrote.
Musk has previously stated that “anyone who opposes remigration is a traitor”, and warned that Australians are becoming an “endangered species”.
The Great Replacement is a term coined by French author Renaud Camus to describe a phenomenon where the native populations in Europe and the Anglosphere are demographically and culturally “replaced” with non-White immigrants as a result of policies pushed or approved by political elites.
The phenomenon is often falsely described as a “conspiracy theory” by corporate media journalists and pro-immigration elites, who simultaneously celebrate and promote ethnic “diversity” in formerly homogenous nations and champion multiculturalism.
Earlier this year the Trump administration pulled out of a UN forum, citing the global body’s facilitation of “replacement migration”, and a French poll found that 60 per cent of voters believed there was “a replacement of the French population by non-European populations mainly from the African continent”.
A Demography Dashboard released by the Institute of Remigration earlier this month projected that four European countries – Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Sweden – will be more than 50 per cent non-native within two decades.
According to the projections, Switzerland, which already has an immigrant population share of 41.2 per cent, will be the first country of those modelled to become a migrant majority country, hitting its “tipping point” in 2038 – just 11 years and two months from now.
Belgium, which is now 36.6 per cent foreign, will hit the threshold in 2044, followed by Germany (32 per cent migrant according to 2025 data) in 2045, and Sweden in 2046.
Other countries modelled and the years they will become native minority are Austria (2052), the UK (2053), Spain (2057), The Netherlands (2058), Norway (2058), Portugal (2064), Italy (2069), Ireland (2077), Finland (2088), and Denmark (2156).
Denmark has some of Europe’s toughest immigration laws thanks to policies by the left-leaning Social Democrats responding to public concern about integration and the tax burden of non-Western immigrants.
France is also included on the dashboard and is projected to exceed 50 per cent migration ancestry in 2050, but is not directly comparable to the other countries as the projection was not calculated using the IFR model, but is from a high scenario published by a French think tank.
In August French researcher Leo Pier launched another online tool, The Great Replacement Clock, which tracks the declining white share of the global population and in 45 individual countries.
