Sadly Green co-leader Marama Davidson did not read my recent informative post on the different types of mask wearers and what the way they wear their mask tells us about them.
I have now updated the slideshow inside the article to include a photo of Marama. (You’re welcome).
According to my helpful guide:
Wearers of the inside out or upside down mask don’t know that they are wearing it incorrectly. If they had bothered to read the instructions on the packet they would know that the white side should be touching their face and the coloured side should be on the outside. They would also know that the edge with a wire inside it should be at the top so that it can be pinched to mould to the shape of their nose. Despite seeing other people wearing the same mask correctly they blithely continue on without engaging any brain cells.
Wearing your mask inside out is a “Duh” moment for sure.
Luckily for Marama a kindly soul broke the news to her gently…
I do have to point out, however ( since I am not a kindly soul) that this is the second time the government of which Marama is a part has locked down New Zealanders. What does it tell us about the intelligence of Marama as a Minister of the government that is locking down its citizens and enforcing the wearing of masks that months after the start of the first lockdown she not only had not mastered wearing her mask correctly, she told her daughter that the mask could be used either way!
This also suggests that her fellow Green MP’s are A) equally as clueless or B) too timid to tell their co-leader that she was wearing it incorrectly.
Oh dear, I’m sorry, that was not very kind of me but then sometimes the truth hurts. Perhaps if this government worried more about facts and less about being kind we would not be in the economic mess we are now in.
