MSNBC host Rachel Maddow appears to have a touch of Mad-Cow Disease or is it just the woke virus?
Maddow is eschewing Kamala’s word salad of “being unburdened by what has gone before” and suggesting, after Trump’s 2024 electoral win, that the military should be brought in, presumably to stop the second coming of Hitler!
Not only that, but Rachel also wants to become a “friggin’ pirate” (her words) to chase Trump from office. It reminds one of the title of the popular TV show The Chase. Rachel envisages there may be some danger in being a pirate but this would not put her off.
Other TV hosts’ reactions were just as bizarre. The late night comic host Steven Colbert failed to be funny and answered Trump’s win with an expletive: “F.... He’s done it again. We’re back in the same hole we were in 2016 when Trump last won.” This is the hole they dug for themselves, not Trump, and they are still digging. Colbert thought Trump had run for office to get his get out of jail card! No – Trump ran for office to get all of us out of jail.
Jimmy Kimmel, another late night host, was just a cry baby. But this didn’t stop his inner fascism appearing, the very thing they accuse Trump of, by offering that Trump voters would regret their vote. The inference being that only the elites like him know who to vote for. Fascism will make your decisions for you. The working class of America rejected Kimmel and other elites like him, which is why the Democrats lost.
Joy Reid, co-host on The View, thought Kamala had run a superb campaign by getting celebrities to back her. Judging by the result the celebrities’ influence seems to have stymied.
The Swifties – the followers of Taylor Swift – were held up as an example of celebrity success, but is this just wishful thinking? Has anyone done a survey on how the Swifties voted?
Race-baiter Joy Reid, on her own show The Reid Out on NSNBC, had a Yale shrink, Amanda Calhoun, telling viewers to ditch friends and family who voted for Trump. This was for mental health reasons to save them from being triggered. Yale University itself has a history of ditching its own faculties that don’t follow the left’s agenda.
Whoopi Goldberg, the longest running host on NSNBC, is a class act hypocrite, earning eight million dollars a year from the show alone, not to mention other earnings. Whoopi said “Americans are having a hard time. Me too. I am a working person.” She may be a working person but not many are paid that much. The Washington Examiner put her net worth at $60m.
The gravy train might be coming to an end for these rage addicts as the Daily Beast reports that MSNBC’s ratings have plummeted. Even the Democrats have grown weary of them. At CNN the Daily Mail is reporting layoffs following dismal election day ratings.
Other celebrities like Bruce Springsteen found the boys from “My Home Town” had left and were voting for someone else. Madonna, not to be left out, resurrected the ‘F’ expletive and had it on her ‘F Trump’ cake.
Beyoncé couldn’t bear to stay at Kamala’s rally a moment longer and left after a couple of minutes. Cher, like other celebrities, threatened to leave America if Trump won. Now he has won, why are they still there?
There is no show without Punch; our own failed Prime Minister Jacinda helped put the kybosh on Kamala by attending the Democratic National Convention. Both women had been in lefty lockstep, even addressing the European Parliament together. The similarities of these women are obvious: both are Marxists and both suffer from Accurate Information Denial Syndrome, a phrase coined by Chiefsfan73, a commentator on Good Oil.
Trump has had the greatest comeback since Lazarus. Even he didn’t expect a resurrection like the one he had. He called it crazy: Republicans scooped up unfamiliar territory, like those earning under $50k. Plus first-time voters, those under 25 years old, Catholics, a stunning increase in the Latino vote and an increase in the black and Asian vote. Not to mention the Amish vote and 65 per cent of Native Americans.
Trump is a political disrupter par excellence, but Americans were sick of the other lot and thought: what have we got to lose by voting Trump back in? He kept on asking that important question: “Are you better off than you were four years ago?”
Carville had already nailed it under Bill Clinton with his famous line. “It’s the economy, Stupid”. Lame excuses for the Democrats’ loss included misogyny and racism, both pushed by the media.
Apart from those with Trump Derangement Syndrome, America has decided it wants to be the Land of the Free again, without the woke strictures of Lying Kamala. They had been in the land of Nod (Biden) for too long and chose to wake up. They finally decided it was time to board the Trump Train.
