Asylum – Lobotomy Corona
(4″ by 44)
This has fast become my evening go-to cigar; it’s a petit Corona and it’s bloody tasty and fantastic too!
Nicaraguan rolled using a Nicaraguan Habano Maduro wrapper; for it’s size it’s just about perfect for my “home, had dinner, need to do cigar work”
Foundry – Chillin’ Moose Too Corona (5 1/4″ by 45)
Another tasty number; in fact this was the surprise for me out of the line-up… only wish I’d grabbed more (haha I will get more).
Again, in winter I tend to go for Corona’s in the evening and this Dominican rolled cigar hit’s the mark perfectly.
Connecticut Habano Maduro wrapper is toothy, but tasty!
E.P.Carrillo – Primo de Cuba Robusto (5″ by 54)
Another Dominican rolled stunner; this is there “everyday” line of cigars, but bloody good stick for the price (helped us get 6-cigars for the month).
Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper; awesome coffee-cigar!
illusione – Epernay 2009 Le Grande Corona (6″ by 46)
An absolute stunner this one; made with AAA rated Corojo wrapper and a blend of Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 this is a flavour bomb and a half!
Padilla – Crianza Churchill
(7″ by 50)
What! A Churchill in June, are you MAD!??!
Maybe, but these are fantastic Nicaraguan cigars with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and packed with lots of longfiller Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Made by Oliva in Nicaragua, where we all know quality comes before everything else!
Punch – Egg Roll Limited Edition (4 1/2″ by 50)
And I leave the best for last – when I read about these I grovelled to my wholesaler and she ordered in heaps for me and I totally don’t regret it!
This started as an April Fools Day cigar by the rollers in the factory; mimicking an Egg Roll with “cabbage” pocking out the end; in reality it turned into a truly awesome cigar.
The first bit without the wrapper gives you an idea (instantly) of how much flavour the wrapper does impart on your cigar; but bam, you hit the wrapper and go “WOW”
