Mike King committed the unforgivable sin when he turned his back on Labour after they prevaricated and obfuscated over funding his I am Hope charity. Now, whenever they get the chance, they attack Mike King, try to cancel him, cut his funding and denigrate the one person who is actually making headway in dealing with mental health issues.
His real problem is that he is not a government organisation and Labour believes that only the state has the answers.
So, when he made a comment about alcohol and mental health they climbed all over him.
