A reader noticed this on the local Helensville Community Facebook page:
So they decided to email the self-isolation email that was pushed everywhere on Friday and Saturday by the Ministry of Health. This was the reply:
Riiight…you can’t even play a knock, knock joke with that because there is no one there to say “Who’s there?”.
Someone needs a boot in their ass for that messaging.
This is serious stuff and we seem to have a clown show in charge.

The conclusion of the report: nothing worked and everything tried resulted in more damage than the pandemic could ever have achieved on its own. Note that this report has received very little press attention, which only further underscores the problem.
I would love to make sweeping statements about the report, but I must control myself. Whatever we do, we must not surrender the moral high ground.
