When two nurses in Sydney set off a firestorm with their anti-Semitic rant on videochat, the question many of us asked was: is this just the tip of the iceberg? Sadly, the answer is very much yes. Muslim doctors have also been cited for spouting anti-Jewish hate.
It’s not just Muslim medicos, either. The nurses’ union has been vocally ‘pro-Palestinian’, which in sordid practice, as we have seen, is merely anti-Semitism wrapped in an insufferable fug of self-righteousness.
An alarming new turn shows that anti-Semitism runs all the way down in the medical establishment from the very top.
A leading Sydney cardiologist has spread a bizarre conspiracy theory that Israeli intelligence agency Mossad was behind two alleged antisemitic arson attacks in Melbourne and Sydney.
Professor Peter Macdonald, a cardiologist at St Vincent’s Hospital and world-renowned heart transplant pioneer, told a public forum that ‘I thought it was a no brainer that these were Mossad-engineered events’.
‘Am I being totally naive, or has the Zionist lobby taken over ASIO as well?’
The audience erupted into laughter and clapping.
Let that sink in: a top-ranking doctor is openly claiming that the Jewish ‘lobby’ has not only infiltrated Australia’s security apparatus, but that Jews are deliberately attacking their own in order to hoodwink the rest of us.
This is an anti-Semitic rant straight out of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
He had plenty of conspiratorial company, including a podcaster who regularly publishes anti-Israel conspiracy-theories.
‘I think the first thing we need to acknowledge is that we can’t say with certainty who is behind these attacks,’ Mr Hanna replied to Professor Macdonald.
Actually, we can. With such certainty that even the weak, anti-Israel Albanese government has been forced to expel an ambassador from Australia for the first time since WWII.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced last week that ASIO had linked the Iranian government to the December 6 firebombing of the Adass Israel Synagogue in Melbourne and the October 20 attack on Lewis’ Continental Kitchen in Bondi Beach.
The announcement led to the expulsion of Iran’s ambassador to Australia.
While they were promoting ridiculous conspiracy theories against Israel, these scumbags were shilling for the virulently anti-Semitic terror regime of Iran.
Mr Hanna also said that the claims by the government about Iran were made to build ‘manufactured consent’ for Australia’s decision last week to list Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation.
They also used their little conspiracy platform to attack next week’s 2025 Australian Mayors Summit Against Antisemitism.
But, sure, tell us again how it’s not about anti-Semitism.
In the meantime, Jewish Australians would be well advised to avoid St Vincent’s as well as Bankstown Hospital.
And never forget that doctors were overwhelmingly the most likely profession to join the Nazi party. Some things never change.
