I guess it’s not for nothing that some have begun to dub June as “Groomer Awareness Month”: with impeccable timing, a “Pride”-promoting, left-wing politician in the US has been arrested for child pornography.
College Park, Maryland, Mayor Patrick Wojahn resigned Wednesday night ahead of being arrested by Prince George’s County police Thursday on 40 counts of possession of child pornography and 16 counts of distributing child pornography.

Wojahn is not just any mayor of a bumpkin town of less than 40,000 people, though.
Wojahn was the chairman of the board of the gay rights group Equality Maryland, an honorary member of the Lavender Leadership Honor Society, and was regularly identified as a “gay activist” in the press.

He also has some very, very powerful friends in nearby Washington.
The Maryland mayor charged on Thursday with 56 child pornography-related charges has visited the White House several times since President Biden took office and previously described Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg as his mentor.
Indeed, it seems to be his connection to ol’ Buttplug that was his rainbow ticket to the White House.
According to White House visitor logs, Wojahn visited the White House once in 2021 on June 25. He would then make two more visits in 2022 on June 15 and Sept. 13. According to Wojahn’s Instagram and the White House website, Wojahn was in attendance at an event “Commemorating LGBTQ+ Pride Month”. Pictures from his Instagram show Biden and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg giving remarks for the event.
The other two White House events he attended were a “Pride Month Reception”, which included a “Signing of an Executive Order on Advancing LGBTQI+ Individuals”, and a ceremony celebrating the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act.
In addition to the three visits listed on the White House website, Wojahn made three additional visits in December 2022 and January 2023 […] Another post that he was tagged in on Instagram revealed that he was at the White House when Biden signed the Respect for Marriage Act two days later on Dec. 13.
Cue a sudden bout of selective amnesia gripping the Biden White House, which recently flew a “Pride” flag above even the national flag from its balcony.
“The Secretary did not know the former Mayor well, but did meet him a number of times through participation in US Conference of Mayors programming, conferences and political events,” the spokesperson continued.
It was a different tune just days ago, though.
In one Instagram post from June 25, which included two pictures, Wojahn posed for pictures with Buttigieg and his husband, Chasten. The caption reads, “Always great to see these guys at the White House!!” […]
“I actually met Mayor Pete Buttigieg shortly after I was elected mayor in 2015. I went to the US Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting in DC in January, and he was assigned to be my buddy,” Wojahn said.
After meeting, the two chatted on the phone regularly, and Buttigieg gave Wojahn tips on what to expect ahead of the mayoral conference.

But, if “Pride Pete” suddenly pretends not to know the kiddy-diddling fellow Democrat, some of the mainstream media would prefer you didn’t know about his political affiliations, either.
In two stories about Wojahn’s arrest, the Washington Post curiously omits to mention that he’s a Democrat.
Is it relevant, you might ask? Well, according to the Washington Post’s general practice, the political activism of child pornography arrestees is very relevant – at least if that activism is conservative or rooted in traditional religion.
Compare the very first sentence of this story from the WaPo, on another child porn arrest:
“Republican activist Richard A Delgaudio, a longtime Northern Virginia-based fundraiser for conservative causes and personalities, was sentenced to two years’ probation yesterday after pleading guilty to a child pornography charge.” Later the article says, “Delgaudio, 50, heads an array of conservative activist groups from offices in Fairfax County.”
When former Republican staffer Ruben Verastigui was arrested for child porn in 2021, the WaPo used the word “Republican” six times, and “GOP” three times. It also linked him to Trump and to the anti-abortion movement, and specifically mentioned photos he posted on Instagram from the White House.
The WaPo has even more form, though, when it comes to covering up for left-wing activists caught out as paedophiles.
Scott Swirling was quoted repeatedly in the Washington Post when he was lobbying on behalf of Planned Parenthood and other family-planning and abortion groups.
When Swirling, the former executive director of the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association, was arrested in 2013 for arranging sex with a 12-year-old girl, the Washington Post didn’t cover it all as far as I can tell.

But, hey, it’s just a wicked conspiracy theory that high-level political figures balls-deep into paedophilia are being protected by the mainstream media. It’s painfully obvious that the MSM are ever-vigilant to hold paedophiles to the public opprobrium they so deserve.
So long as they’re conservatives, anyway.
