We expect that raising the voting age to 16 will be supported by the typical lefty ‘wokes’ as ‘they’ understand how our kids have been brainwashed by the hoards of extreme left leaning school teachers. The support is fuelled in the belief that these 16-year-old children have been indoctrinated sufficiently enough to vote in favour of those commie atheist misfits who now fill the ranks of Labour.
If there is a coherent principle connecting these two editorial decisions, Stuff should have no difficulty explaining it.
