‘Let’s Talk Politics’ is Her Slogan, so Let’s Talk.

Anneka Carlson is standing for New Plymouth District Council and is using social media to get her message heard. I stumbled across one of her messages and I thought that it would stimulate a debate here on Whaleoil.

The key points that I see are these:

1. Anneka Carlson thinks that deplatforming a person because of their religious beliefs is what GoFundMe stands for.
2. Anneka Carlson thinks that treating a man unequally because of his religious beliefs is standing up for equality.
3. Anneka Carlson thinks that bullying a man by shutting down his ability to fundraise is good if he has different views to hers and the LGBTQ community’s.
