The UK slips deeper into anarchy as Keir Starmer misreads the room, again. Once again, he has talked of protecting local communities and mosques and neglected the poor white working class.

There will be 6,000 extra police out on the streets of the UK tonight as intelligence reports suggest up to 100 towns have been targeted by the “far right”/demonstrators/ordinary citizens protesting (select according to your own political standpoint).

The first of the demonstrators have been tried and sentenced, with one being sentenced to three years’ imprisonment. Meanwhile the Asian brothers involved in the violence at Manchester Airport have not even been charged yet.

There is an even bigger wedge being forged between the police and the majority of the public as evidence of two-tier policing comes to light. The police of course deny the existence of two-tier policing, saying that they police without fear or favour and make decisions in each situation according to the operational requirements of each situation. They then can’t explain why no action has been taken against masked Asian youths who threatened a female Sky News reporter with a machete.

The recent riots in Harehills, Leeds, which involved ethnic minorities was a prime example of light-touch policing, with no body armour, no riot gear, etc. The police eventually withdrew “to protect community relations”.

Contrast this with the recent demonstrations from the “far right”, where they were in full riot gear and policed aggressively with no sign of a light touch. Obviously, it had different policing requirements to the Harehills’ event.

I have heard that a few years ago MI5 were told to allocate more resources to monitoring the ‘far right’. They did this at the expense of resources previously allocated to following the left and potential Islamic insurgents. This was seen in the lack of intelligence concerning the current Gaza demonstrations. There are also rumours of co-operation between the far right and loyalist elements in Northern Ireland. If this escalates because of Starmer’s neglect of the white working class, the country will be in deep strife.

It is, of course, possible the Labour Party will use this as an excuse to reduce civil liberties, restrict freedom of speech and introduce ID cards. All in the name of maintaining our safety.

There is an ever-growing mistrust of the police and a realisation that the electorate have been lied to by Labour as they are floating policies that weren’t in their manifesto.

The language used by Starmer is in danger of giving instructions to the courts and undermining the independence of the judiciary. He and his team have been saying that demonstrators who have been arrested will be fast tracked and, when convicted, punished to the maximum the law will allow. This seems to conflict with the normal sentencing guidelines that the judges work with. The concept of pre-sentencing reports and psychological and probation office assessments seems to have been dispensed with.

And, there’s an unbelievable report from Ireland, where the government are looking at banning the wearing of balaclavas. This is the ultimate irony as it seems to be supported by Sinn Fein. Where was this 40 years ago?

I am still not sure whether all the reaction to the demonstrations was pre-planned, or Labour is being opportunistic without regard to the consequences, or it is just thoughtless incompetence.
