Dear Editor

A work colleague of mine was talking to the local E Tu union rep Red Middlemiss. He was saying some local gang members (don’t know if they are Black Power or Mongrel Mob) were getting paid 100k per annum government funding to run counselling services.

I don’t know who they are counselling, their own members or their victims!

Also from Red Middlemiss came some news of the Black Power getting government funding to buy or lease a vacant building above Ronnies Cafe. A few weeks ago there was a gang fight outside the cafe between the Mongrel Mob and the Black Power. Two carloads of Mongrel Mob members took exception to Black Power taking over the building. Maybe that’s why Willie Jackson talks to them on a regular basis? The gangs probably want something from him rather than Willie wanting something from them (unless it’s more votes).

Signed

G

Local Government Calls for an Immediate Suspension

Blanco, who formerly served as Port Hedland Mayor, said he was inundated with calls from other local government areas after the Port Hedland Council motion was passed. “I’ve been contacted by so many councils that are ready for this,” he said. “They can’t just ignore this. We want genuine answers.”
