Some mothers sure do ’ave ’em. Especially in Democratic politics. It’s not just Jill (that’s “Dr Jill”, to you, peasant) Biden’s little boy, Hunter. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s own darling offspring has been keeping some very bad company, too.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s son is allegedly tied to a fraud and bribery scheme that was investigated by the FBI, after documents revealed he was the homeowner of the residence at the center of the investigation.
Paul Pelosi Jr., 53, signed statements that indicated he was the property owner of a flophouse known as “The Pit,” where he had been “legally and financially responsible” for the activity that goes on in the home, according to a report by The Daily Mail.
At heart, this appears to be some old-fashioned City Hall graft. “The Pit” is a hotel formerly owned by Pelosi’s former girlfriend. Text messages obtained by the FBI show discussions between a San Francisco planning official and a so-far-unnamed “Client 9” discussing a bribe to grease the permit skids. The property has long been mired in accusations of fraud: in 2019, Pelosi’s ex, Karen Feng, sued him , claiming he had conspired with a now-convicted lawyer and fraudulent realtor to steal the property from her. That case was dismissed on technical grounds.
City Hall corruption-as-usual? Sure, but ask yourself: if this was, say Don Trump Jr., would it be a non-issue for the media? Just as they did with Hunter Biden’s laptop, the media are openly trying to smother the story (news aggregator Ground News shows that just 13% of left-leaning media are covering the story).
More to the point, why should the story be suppressed, whether it’s a Republican or Democrat? Nancy Pelosi is one of the most powerful people in America, third in line to the Oval Office.
Maybe the media gatekeepers might argue that there’s no evidence little Pauly did anything wrong and he’s just got caught up with a bad crowd. Maybe, but he seems to be making a habit of getting caught up with the wrong people.
A shocking paper trail shows Paul Pelosi Jr.’s connections to a host of fraudsters, rule-breakers and convicted criminals.
His years-long repeated business dealings raise two troubling questions Nancy’s son has been unable to answer: why did he get mixed up with such unsavory characters over and over, and how involved was he with the criminal investigations into his fraudster colleagues?
While Paul Pelosi Jr.’s mother once pledged to lead ‘the most honest, most open, most ethical Congress in history’, her son has a staggering wake of criminal colleagues, fraudulent companies and federal investigations.
Pelosi Jr.’s links to alleged lawbreakers include:
• The 52-year-old joined the board of a biofuel company after it defrauded investors according to an SEC ruling, and whose CEO was convicted after bribing Georgia officials
• Pelosi Jr. was president of an environmental investment firm that turned out to be a front for two convicted fraudsters
• He joined a lithium mining company and received millions of shares, allegedly issued as part of a massive $164 million fraud
• He was vice president of a company previously embroiled in an investigation of scam calls that targeted senior citizens
• He has close business ties with a man accused by the Department of Justice of running a fake UN charity that stole investors’ money
• A medical company Pelosi Jr. worked for tested drugs on people without FDA authorization, according to an FDA investigation.

Once might be bad luck: six times begins to look less and less like an accident.
The Pelosi family has often been smeared with accusations of criminal misconduct. Many are clearly internet fiction, others, well, may just be bad luck. But such a run of bad luck, over three generations, might make even the most charitable person start to wonder.
Ma Pelosi’s protestations of being “the most honest, most open, most ethical” put one in mind of the old saying about a man who keeps telling you how honest he is.
