Is Emmanuel Macron colossally stupid, or just a socialist? (Is there a difference?) Either way, he’s peddling the most moronic ‘it will work next time’ argument since you last heard a university socialist say, ‘real communism just hasn’t been tried yet’.
There is no alternative to a two-state solution between Israelis and Palestinians, France told a UN conference co-chaired with Saudi Arabia on Monday that was boycotted by Israel and branded a stunt by Washington.
“Only a political, two-state solution will help respond to the legitimate aspirations of Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace and security. There is no alternative,” French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said at the start of the three-day meeting.
Days before the conference, French President Emmanuel Macron announced he would formally recognise Palestinian statehood in September, provoking strong opposition from Israel and the United States.
Which do they want? A ‘Palestinian’ state or Israelis living in peace and security? As ‘Palestinian’ Arabs have repeatedly demonstrated, you can’t have both.
In 1947, Arabs violently rejected a two-state solution far more generous to Arabs than anything on offer since. Despite its clear disadvantages to them, Jews accepted. Immediately, Arabs united to try and obliterate the tiny Jewish state (as well as violently ejecting millions of Jews from their homes in surrounding Arab states).
Despite losing their war of annihilation against Jews (unsurprising, given that ‘Palestinians’ had happily allied with the Nazi regime: the former Mufti of Palestine was the only Nazi collaborator to be hailed as a national hero after WWII), the Arabs tried again and again. Every time, they lost, losing more territory to the Israelis to compound the humiliation of being beaten soundly by the yahud.
Even when given an autonomous state to run in Gaza, subsidised by billions of dollars of foreign aid every year, not to mention free electricity and water from Israel, ‘Palestinians’ refused to build what should have been a thriving modern state on the shores of the Mediterranean.
Instead, they chose to funnel all the foreign aid into building a vast network of tunnels for their terrorists to hide in, and to stockpile weapons. Donated water pipes were cut up to make rockets.
On October 7, 2023, ‘Palestinians’ launched their latest war of extermination against Jews.
And morons like Macron think they’re suddenly about to change the intractable hate of the past century?
France is hoping Britain will follow its lead. More than 200 British members of parliament on Friday voiced support for the idea, but Prime Minister Keir Starmer said recognition of a Palestinian state “must be part of a wider plan”. United Nations secretary-general Antonio Guterres said at the meeting “the two-state solution is farther than ever before”. According to an AFP database, at least 142 of the 193 UN member states now recognise the Palestinian state proclaimed by the Palestinian leadership-in-exile in 1988.
Clearly, Macron is not the only cretin in the snake pit of the UN.
But after more than 21 months of war in Gaza, the ongoing expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and Israeli officials declaring designs to annex occupied territory, it is feared a Palestinian state could become geographically impossible.
It’s never been possible. It never will be possible.
Not until ‘Palestinians’ learn to stop trying to kill Jews at any and every opportunity they get.
Anyone who thinks that’s about to happen is not just colossally stupid, but deaf and blind.
And Macron needs to learn that Israel is not France and they won’t be running up the white flag at the drop of a baguette.
