Majority of Americans Still Want Illegals Gone

Don’t believe a word the legacy media are telling you and don’t be fooled by the performative violence of organised, far-left insurgents in a single American city. President Donald Trump is winning the border control war on nearly every front. Illegal border crossings are at their lowest since 1970.

The administration is winning the deportation battle, too – legally, and in the court of public opinion.

On the legal front, yet another vexatious ruling by a jumped-up lefty judge has been rightly overturned.

In a major legal victory for the Trump administration, a federal appeals court ruled Monday that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) can terminate deportation protections for nearly 90,000 migrants from Nepal, Honduras and Nicaragua in the US.

The three-judge panel on the 9th US Court of Appeals unanimously agreed that a lower court erred in blocking the Trump administration from ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for migrants from the three nations, overturning a December order from District Judge Trina Thompson in San Francisco.

It will surprise no one to learn that Thompson was appointed by Joe Biden.

TPS is supposed to be a temporary protection for those fleeing wars or natural disasters. The TPS status of the three nations in the case, though, have been in place for between 10 and 17 years. As the administration points out, the ruling is a win for both common sense and the democratic process.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem celebrated the appeals court ruling, calling it “a win for the rule of law and vindication for the US Constitution.”

“Under the previous administration, Temporary Protected Status was abused to allow violent terrorists, criminals, and national security threats into our nation,” Noem wrote on X. “TPS was never designed to be permanent, yet previous administrations have used it as a de facto amnesty program for decades.

“Given the improved situation in each of these countries, we are wisely concluding what was intended to be a temporary designation.”

In the court of public opinion, for all the screeching fury of the dying legacy media, the American public is remaining solidly approving of the mass deportations.

A new poll underscores Americans’ broad agreement on the fundamentals of President Trump’s border enforcement:

73% agree that entering the US without permission is breaking the law.

61% support deporting illegal aliens to their home countries.

58% reject Democrats’ extremist calls to defund ICE – now a core position of their party.

54% support ICE enforcing our nation’s federal immigration laws.

Another poll shows that Democrat state government tactics, such as in Minnesota, have little support.

67% want state and local officials to cooperate with federal authorities to deport criminal illegal aliens (including 64% of independents).

67% say local jails should hand over criminal illegal aliens to federal authorities for swift deportation (backed by 62% of independents and even 50% of Democrats).

60% see Democrats as actively encouraging resistance to ICE officers simply trying to do their jobs and keep Americans safe.

57% oppose elected officials stoking chaos by urging defiance against ICE.

The polls aren’t good, either, for the left’s most-common talking points – particularly the ludicrous claim that illegal immigrants ‘aren’t criminals’.

A Cygnal poll shows that:

73% of Americans say coming here illegally is breaking the law.

This suggests that 27 per cent of Americans are complete idiots.
