“Man of My Word” My Arse

Albo welcomes yet more ‘ISIS brides’ with open arms.

Not that anyone ever took him seriously in the first place, but Anthony Albanese has once again proven that his “I am a man of my word” boast was a steaming pile of horse-dookey. The latest case in point is his government’s outrageous and sneaky backflip on smuggling some of the world’s most vile jihadis – and that’s saying something – into the country. This is in direct contradiction of his solemn vows, after the last time they got caught smuggling so-called ‘ISIS brides’ into Australia.

Just a few months ago, remember, Albanese was swearing black and blue the government “will not repatriate Australian families with links to Islamic State (IS) fighters”.

Now?

The Syrian government has told the ABC that the Australian government was the “deciding factor” in the departure of the so-called “ISIS Brides” from Syria […]

The Syrian government official said they had to wait until the Australian government had put “procedures in place” to receive the women.

In February, Albanese was supposedly washing his hands of the so-called ISIS brides and their brood stranded in Syrian camps. Fast-forward a few months and four women and nine children linked to Islamic State fighters are touching down in Sydney and Melbourne, passports issued, procedures in place and the Syrian government openly calling Australia the “deciding factor” in their departure.

Funny how “no assistance or repatriation” turns into full-service travel agents when the polls tighten in western Sydney.

These weren’t naive schoolgirls swept off by romance. They watched ISIS snuff videos, cheered the caliphate’s beheadings, enslavements and mass rapes and ditched Australia for the black flag. They explicitly rejected this country to join a death cult that made slavery, genocide and sexual torture official policy. Now they’re “excited to get back” because Australia is “like paradise” for their kids. The sheer brass neck is Olympic standard.

The particular charges awaiting them are stomach-turning.

Australian Federal Police officers have interviewed at least one woman who claims to have been kept as a slave in Syria by the husband and father of three ISIS-linked women returning to Australia on Thursday afternoon, the Australian can reveal […]

They include former Sydney nursing student Janai Safar and her son, Melbourne grandmother Kawsar Abbas, her adult daughters Zahra and Zeinab and their respective children.

A former UN investigator into ISIS crimes said he had personally connected Australian authorities to a Yazidi woman named Sarab in 2023, who claimed to have been held as a slave by Ms Abbas’s husband, Mohammad Ahmad.

He said a second woman, Tayseer, who briefly lived in Australia, said she had spent as much as a year enslaved in the same household and accused Mr Ahmad, whom she knew as Abu Omar, of repeatedly raping her.

As for those supposedly ‘innocent children’ of these jihadi scum, if the wives and adult daughters knew – and they almost certainly did – they’re accessories to crimes against humanity. The kids, raised in the ISIS meat grinder, aren’t exactly blank slates either.

They said most of their children, who were born in Syria, had never visited Australia and that Australia was “like paradise” to them.

Funny how paradise looks a lot like the country you betrayed the moment the black flags were raised. The women who willingly joined a gang-rape-and-slavery cult now demand we play happy families on the Australian dime.

But not one of these ‘children’ (all at or nearing adulthood, in fact) were born in Australia. Their parents renounced this country for the caliphate. By what possible measure, then, are they suddenly ‘Australia’s responsibility’? Spare us the sob stories. These youngsters have marinated in the most toxic, violent Islamist indoctrination imaginable. Britain’s de-radicalisation programmes have been a expensive joke and Australia’s track record is no better. We’re importing ticking time-bombs who view us as the enemy.

And the cost? Decades of AFP surveillance, social housing, welfare and endless legal appeals. Taxpayers already footing the bill for people who cheered our destruction, all while veterans sleep rough and pensioners choose between heating and eating.

This isn’t compassion: it’s cynical electoral maths. Albanese knows the demographics in key Labor seats. Importing ISIS-adjacent voters while pretending to be tough on terror is the oldest Labor trick in the book. “Some individuals will be arrested and charged,” says the AFP commissioner who’s spent years and hundreds of millions pursuing an Australian war hero, while known ISIS members were allowed to amass stockpiles of weapons and travel unimpeded to jihadi training grounds, ultimately carrying out the worst terror attack in Australia’s history.

So, don’t piss on our legs and tell us it’s raining. We know exactly what will happen: they’ll be housed, monitored at eye-watering expense and quietly ‘integrated’, while the rest of us get lectures about 'far-right extremism’.

If you make your bed with ISIS, you should bloody well lie in it – preferably somewhere in the Syrian desert. Instead, Albanese’s government is rolling out the red carpet. Because nothing says “man of my word” like breaking it for the Muslim vote while the rest of Australia pays the price.
