There is an influential group of Maori who are bullies and who will manipulate the truth whenever it suits them to get what they want. I believe every member of the Maori Caucus belongs to that group.
They are like disagreeable teenagers who will ignore the facts and do exactly what they want. Without any desire to be truthful or honest they chase their ever-expanding dreams of stealing other people’s wealth, all based on unsupported hearsay.
