The legacy media are resorting to ever-more underhanded tricks in their desperation to run cover for the Biden administration. I’m not just talking about the endless scrambling to “explain” what the president “really” meant by his increasingly demented ramblings. Nor am I talking about their own demented ramblings that, if you excluse petrol, gas, food and housing prices, then there’s no inflation problem.
What I’m talking about is the concatenation of sly dodges the media are using to try and run cover for the damning revelations oozing out of Hunter Biden’s laptop. First, they tried the ol’ reliable: outright lying. “Russian disinformation”, the media screeched. Big Tech were only too happy to play along, with Twitter banning the story. Brandon himself straight-up lied about it, too. During the presidential debates, Biden thundered that the laptop story was “garbage”, and “information that is Russian, that is not true”.
As we all now know — as some of us knew all along — the laptop is very real and very much not “Russian disinformation”. Not that that matters: the fix was in and it did its job. Polling has shown that, if Democrat voters had known the truth before the election, enough of them in key districts would have switched votes to easily overturn the result.
But, even now when even the media can no longer keep up the blatant lying, they’re still running cover. This time, by distraction.
Hunter Biden filmed his own home porn videos and uploaded them online, it has emerged, in the latest revelation likely to embarrass his father.
Dozens of videos found on a laptop abandoned by Hunter reveal that President Biden’s son filmed himself having sex with prostitutes and posted them on his own Pornhub account.
He was careful not to show his face, but the latest revelations from the laptop add to a growing list of scandals that includes an investigation into his tax affairs and foreign business dealings.
A list of searches covering a week in March 2019, obtained by the Daily Mail, unearthed a fixation with pornography for Mr Biden’s troubled son, who has struggled for years with alcohol and drug addiction. Of the 281 websites found he looked at, 98 involved porn, the Mail said.
Hunter, 52, who had a controversial relationship with his late brother’s widow, Hallie, repeatedly searched Pornhub for videos involving widows, including “Lonely widow porn”. He also sought instructions on how to hack a lover’s mobile phone.
The Times
Did you see what they did, there? By focusing on the sleaze — and, boy, is it sleazy, have no doubt — the media are sidelining the real story.
“an investigation into his tax affairs and foreign business dealings.”
Just ten words in a 300-word story actually even hint at what the real story of Hunter’s laptop is. The trove of emails on the laptop have unveiled a damning web of corruption that allegedly goes all the way to the Oval Office. Including kickbacks from now-defunct CCP-linked firms that were doled out to members of the Biden and Kerry families, including a 10% cut for “the Big Guy”. Hunter was also leveraging his family name to secure a multi-million-dollar job in the very country that President Biden is using to fight a proxy war against Russia.
Leave aside the fact that the media gleefully dug up any dirt they could on the Trump family, from First Lady Melania’s old modelling photos, to near-century-old allegations about the president’s father. Also leave aside the certainty that, if this story was about Don Jr. or Ivanka, the videos would be running on a loop on CNN and with hooting commentary by late night “comedians”.
Forget all that, though, and watch what the media are doing, now. By concentrating solely on the sleaze angle, the media are carefully giving Biden’s handlers and apologists a wriggle-out. Which is exactly what they’re grabbing. “How is this a story?” “I’m not a fan of Biden, but he and his wife have my sympathy.” “What have his son’s actions got to do with him or his job as US president?”
As William Blake wrote, “A truth that’s told with bad intent, beats all the lies you can invent”.
