Media Need to Listen to Their Audience

I really had to laugh on Thursday when both Willaims and Plunket were again trying to figure out why the media in this country are failing miserably and can’t manage to exist without making massive losses. It was sort of like the blind leading their own seeing-eye dog! Both seem incapable of seeing the massive left bias of the media. Even though there have been numerous callers ringing and telling them this is the reason they just don’t bother to watch the news on TV anymore – both must just have painted on ears!

Williams can’t seem to figure out that every morning when he has his little anti- Trump rant, calling him an idiot or racist or narcissist or something equally denigrating, that he instantly alienates his right-leaning audience!

Considering that he is a morning announcer, probably 75% of his listeners would be to the right as the left is normally still in bed till around 2! Then he quotes something off CNN, admits that they also have a contract to get news from the BBC, then turns around and interviews some left-leaning anti-Brexiteer, Trump and Boris hating ‘expert’ and then, to top it all off, wonders why people like me still pine for another Leighton Smith!

Plunket is adamant that reporters aren’t ‘told’ what to write by management but do everything off their own bat. So there’s the bulk of the problem right there! If these clowns can’t produce material that people want, then management should be intervening and ensuring that they do! The problem is when whoever is in charge of these organizations are incapable of admitting that the vast majority of their content is left-leaning drivel, nothing will change and the slide into oblivion will continue.
