Voices for Freedom

The NZ Freedom Convoy has grown to immense numbers over the past 2 days with its final stop being Wellington.

At the time of writing (4 pm Monday), word is that the convoy is a whopping 70KM long!   The branch of the Convoy coming via Napier is still passing through, and has over 1,000 cars pass by without the convoy being finished.

If there is a time for you to be out and supporting our fellow New Zealanders on the street, it is now.

We have people from ACROSS the country who have taken time off work, are away from loved ones and are so passionate about our freedom rights that they have been in the car for two days straight and are descending into Wellington. We have heard stories of people travelling from Kaitaia, another of an entire household leaving at 2 hours’ notice and this includes bringing the pets along too. So Wellington, we have no excuses, Let’s head into the city and grow the movement at Parliament!

This convoy demonstrates that we have a very large number of people that all believe in Freedom. The energy and love that we are seeing from around New Zealand is the type of behaviour that makes us proud to be Kiwi’s.

So here are the details………

Popups to Welcome Everyone to the City

Tuesday 8th February 7:30 – end of convoy passing.

We have popups arranged at various locations leading into Wellington.  WE NEED YOU AND ALL YOUR PEOPLE.

From north to south, they are as follows:

•  Kapiti – 3 x pedestrian overbridges at Pekapeka, Paraparaumu and Raumati Sth

•  Paekakariki roadside

•  Pukerua Bay pedestrian overbridge, SH1

•  Plimmerton between Grays Rd and Palmers Garden Centre

•  Mana Esplanade (Freedom Alliance will take both sides of the road here)

•  Paremata Bridge (where people jump into the sea to swim), both sides

•  Paremata Railway Station pedestrian footbridges (over SH1), southbound lanes

•  Churton Park and Johnsonville overbridges as stated above

•  Waterloo Quay, (meet at Platform 9 Railway Station 8.30 am) – text Juanita on 021 422 542 to let her know you’re coming to this one!

If you are supporting a popup, please be prepared that you may be standing for a long time to wait for the Convoy to arrive, and also for it to pass by.  Be prepared with comfortable clothing, a rain jacket, water, shoes and maybe something to sit on.

Any/all signs and banners are welcome!

Getting into Town and Meeting at Parliament

Tuesday 8th February 9 am onwards

If you are not coming to the pop-ups or joining the convoy we suggest you catch the train, bus, walk, or bike into the city and walk to Parliament.

We will TRY to meet other VFF people at the parliament children’s playground slide.

We have managed to secure amazing speakers to talk tomorrow to our freedom crowds, these will start around midday. The convoy and number of people are expected to be huge and this will affect the speed of traffic heading into Wellington. Be flexible with your timing expectations.

Bring food, water, raincoat, comfortable shoes and sunhat.

Information to Share with our Visitors

We have people arriving in Wellington who are not familiar with the area. Please get out and talk to people so that you can provide them with information.

Food and Water

Over 180 people contributed to the Wellington Convoy Food Discussion and we will have some well-fed visitors. This is a full scale operation underway to feed thousands of people If you can help prepare meals, or help in shifts deliver meals to people then please join the following Telegram group – ‘Wellington Team – NZ Truck Convoy – Food Support’.
