An interesting comparison is Iceland. Much of Iceland’s DATA-CENTRE industry developed precisely because it had abundant renewable electricity in a relatively remote location. Southland has some similar characteristics, although New Zealand lacks Iceland's geographic advantage of sitting directly between North America and Europe on major internet routes.
So again, who is right? I back Shane Jones, Winston Peters and NZ First as being better read, better informed and certainly better equipped to manage this country. I am fed up to the back teeth having to listen to the uninformed, scaremongered Wallies that believe the absolute nonsense and rumours sprouted by the retarded Brussels Sprouts of the Green Party.
