Good old Pauline – she never fails to put a rocket up the bastards.
This time, in a move sure to set the chattering classes shrieking and clutching for their pearls, she’s urging Australia to follow US President Donald Trump’s lead and ditch the venal WHO.
Australia should affirm its sovereignty and withdraw its membership of the World Health Organisation following President Donald Trump’s withdrawal of the United States from the organisation.
One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said her party had been calling for Australia to exit the WHO since 1996, a call now more urgent after revelations of the organisation’s overreaching plans to take over the country’s health system and dictate Australian health policy.
Hanson is referring, of course, to the so-called ‘Pandemic Preparedness Treaty’, which would cede unprecedented powers to the unelected, unrepresentative transnational organisation. Of course, supporters furiously deny that it could encroach on sovereignty, but who’d believe a word they say after the Covid pandemic?
Remember when they said there would be no mandatory vaccinations? There were. Remember when they scoffed at the idea of vaccination passports? They were foisted on us, anyway. As for claims that the treaty respects sovereignty – so, according to its charter, does the UN – yet, that didn’t stop the UN conspiring to topple governments, under the guise of so-called ‘Responsibility to Protect’ doctrine.
And don’t forget how the WHO was not only complicit in the almost-certain engineering of Covid in Wuhan and actively conspired with the Chinese Communist Party to try cover it all up.
No one in their right mind would trust these bastards an inch.
“The WHO has been pushing hard for a global pandemic treaty which would enable this unelected international body to effectively take over any Australian response to a future pandemic,” Senator Hanson said.
“One Nation won’t stand for Australia signing over its sovereignty by being party to such an agreement. We have no business being a member of a body that does not recognise the Australian people’s ultimate authority over how our country responds to a challenge like Covid-19.
“The United States under President Trump has recognised its best interests do not lie with the WHO. Australia’s best interests lie in charting an independent path too – we can have positive and beneficial diplomatic and trade relationships without unelected international bureaucracies compromising our sovereignty.
“Australia should review all of its memberships to bodies like the WHO – including the United Nations. Australia may have been one of its original founding members, but the UN has hopelessly lost its way. It’s become a platform for abhorrent regimes to claim legitimacy, a forum of hatred for western countries like Australia, and a tacit supporter of international terrorism […]
“I congratulate Mr Trump for leading by example and putting his nation’s interests before all else. One Nation puts Australia and Australians first.”
You bloody tell ’em, Pauline.
Trump certainly is.
The United States will exit the World Health Organization, President Donald Trump said on Monday, saying the global health agency had mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic and other international health crises.
Trump said the WHO had failed to act independently from the “inappropriate political influence of WHO member states” and required “unfairly onerous payments” from the US that are disproportionate to the sums provided by other, larger countries, such as China.
“World Health ripped us off, everybody rips off the United States. It’s not going to happen anymore,” Trump said at the signing of an executive order on the withdrawal, shortly after his inauguration to a second term.
Now to get to work on ridding ourselves of the UN, itself.
