The Prime Minister has signed a statement that she is returning bribe money in the post: a five dollar note.

The NZ Post regulations are quite clear about items that are prohibited for posting.

  • Bank (eg debit, EFTPOS or credit) and gift cards*
  • Bullion,
  • coins*,
  • currency,
  • traveller’s cheques,
  • bonds and shares
