Prime Minister’s Claims on Testing in Question

The BFD

Table of Contents

The Prime Minister has stated the tests in quarantine will be compulsory:

“We’ve taken the opportunity, while renewing that health order, to make it crystal-clear that individuals must submit to testing and medical exams, including the potential of multiple tests,” Ardern said.

Well, it turns out that isn’t strictly true:

That is from the consent form being handed out to those in quarantine, one of whom has emailed the tipline.

Once again the Prime Minister’s words are not matched by the actions of her health officials.

It has become a complete clown show, where the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing.

This is simple weapons grade incompetence.

Consent Form:

The Prime Minister uses words like “unacceptable” and “unforgivable” to describe the situation at the border with quarantine and testing, yet it seems no one is being actually held accountable.

A decent opposition would ask the Prime Minister if this is unforgivable and unacceptable then who is responsible?

Is it Ashley Bloomfield?

Is it someone below him?

If not, then some one above him?

Is it David Clark?

Is it the Prime Minister?

She took all the glory, stands to reason she should also take the brickbats. You can’t have one with out the other.

But if it is truly “unforgivable” and “unacceptable” then who is getting sacked? Or does the Prime Minister use a different dictionary to the rest of us.
