She’s Convinced She’s Still Popular and Still Winning

Convinced She's Still Popular
Jacinda Ardern

Jacinda Ardern is either delusional or stupid with her comments about the destruction of Labour-endorsed candidates at the weekend. She seems convinced that she’s still popular and still winning. Of course she could be just lying… again.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she doesn’t think there’s a “simple, straight reflection” between support for the Government and the failure of some high-profile candidates endorsed by Labour in the local body elections.

She had been asked on RNZ on Monday morning if the “stardust” had worn off, given the failure of mayoral candidates she had endorsed – Paul Eagle in Wellington and Efeso Collins in Auckland.

Direct comparisons could not be made between voting in local and central government. “Particularly when you don’t have straight political party tickets in the same way.”

Local government moved in its own rhythms across the country, Ardern said.

Stuff

Sure. You keep believing that. See how it turns out for you next year.

“It’s important to keep in mind that across the country we’ve still had 37 mayors re-elected, and that local government as a whole has supported (Three Waters) reform,” Ardern told RNZ.

Stuff

The vast majority of councils saying a loud NO is support? The loss of pro-Three Waters candidates is support? Whatever she’s on, I want some.

She is in denial. In her interview with Radio NZ, she gets snarky at the end: “if I may”; “if I may”.

Ardern said in the same interview that New Zealanders have easy access to MPs. “If you have concerns come and talk to MPs.”

Well, the people came in February, Jacinda, to talk and you and the other 119 MPs and you wouldn’t give them the time of day. What a bare-faced liar.

The left has been complaining loud and long about the collapse of democracy, despite about the same number of people voting as in 2019, when left-wing councils and mayors, like Phil Goff, were elected. Apparently, now that people have voted the wrong way, it’s a collapse of democracy.

No, you dolts, this IS democracy.

What the left has failed to grasp is that we are heartily sick and tired of the hectoring, badgering, finger-wagging, we know what’s best for you attitude, along with the polarisation, segregation, demonisation and hounding, and the belittling, condescending, paternalistic, censorious and arrogant attitudes towards anyone daring to hold an opinion that differs from their shallow world view of state control.

We had a chance to express an opinion with a vote, and we said “enough”. If they can’t grasp that then they deserve the electoral oblivion coming their way.

The other thing we are sick of is the persistent shoving of Maori wonderfulness down our throats by the biggest bunch of racist pricks known to man.

Tamati Coffey thinks it’s a bad day for democracy when voters reject their attempt to cement apartheid policies by pushing for race-based wards, where democracy really will be eroded as the ability to stand or vote in those wards is based entirely on race.

He’s wrong: the vote proves that democracy works and that we’ve actually long since reached peak Maori. We aren’t racist – people like Tamati Coffey are.

I think Jacinda Ardern is actually narcissistic enough to believe the lies she emits from her lying mouth. Or maybe it’s just induced delusion.  Either way, she is convinced she’s still popular and still winning.

Call an election now and see how it works out for you, Jacinda.
