Soon-to-Be Headless Chickens Stick Out Their Necks

‘Queers for Palestine’ are the weirdest suicide cult ever.

Nearly everything in this picture would have a jihadi reaching for the scimitar. The Good Oil. Photoshop by Lushington Brady.

Could there possibly be a more demented and deluded group than ‘Queers for Palestine’? To try and grasp how batshit these people are, picture a group of antebellum black Americans in the North marching under the banner of ‘Blacks for Slavery’.

That only begins to illustrate how barking mad these people are, because at least slaves weren’t put to death just for being black. Homosexuals under Sharia have no such luxury. Six countries in the world prescribe the death penalty for homosexuality: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen, Brunei, Nigeria and Mauritania. See if you can figure out what the common thread linking them is.

Even when they don’t summarily execute ‘Queers’, the supposed model of Islamic democracy, Indonesia, is hardly the place you’d want to be ‘out and proud’.

An Islamic court in Indonesia’s conservative Aceh province on Monday sentenced two men to public caning, 80 times each, after Islamic religious police caught them engaged in what the court deemed were sexual acts: hugging and kissing.

The trial at the Islamic Shariah District Court in Banda Aceh, the provincial capital, was held behind closed doors. Judges have the authority to limit public access in such a case and open it only for the verdict.

The two men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested in April after residents saw them entering the same bathroom at Taman Sari city park and reported it to police patrolling the area. The police broke into the toilet and caught the men kissing and hugging, which the court considered to be a sexual act.

The lead judge, Rokhmadi M Hum, said the two college students were “legally and convincingly” proven to have violated Islamic law by committing acts that lead to gay sexual relations.

Oh, and those 80 lashes each were considered a measure of clemency by the Islamic judges.

Even in non-Muslim countries, Islamic clerics advocate murdering gay people.

A British sheikh who advocated death as the penalty for homosexual acts has left Australia ahead of a decision to revoke his visa.

The immigration minister, Peter Dutton, told Sky New on Wednesday he had already decided to cancel the sheikh’s visa and he was unlikely to be allowed to return.

The Australian government chose to review the visa of the Shia Muslim cleric Farrokh Sekaleshfar after a video surfaced of him telling a Michigan audience in 2013 that “death is the sentence for homosexual acts” in Islam and this was “nothing to be embarrassed about”.

Plenty of British Muslims are listening. More than half of Muslims in the UK agree that homosexuality should be illegal. Too many are fully prepared to enforce sharia if the UK state won’t.

Three British Muslim men were found guilty on Friday of stirring up hatred by distributing leaflets calling for the death of homosexuals in what prosecutors said was a landmark case.

[Ihjaz Ali, Kabir Ahmed and Razwan Javed], from Derby, had posted and handed out pamphlets near their local mosque with the title “Death Penalty?” featuring a mannequin hanging from a noose and saying gay people would to go to hell.

The leaflets were part of a protest by a group of Muslim men against a forthcoming Gay Pride parade in the city.

Some Muslims take the prescriptions of their religion really seriously.

The mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando by a radicalised man who proclaimed to follow Islam has prompted strong reaction from several religious leaders, and brought the issue of homophobia within Muslim communities into the spotlight.

Since the shooting, various Muslim leaders have been reported quoting sharia law in relation to homosexual acts and saying homosexuality should be punishable by death.

Two Islamic clerics in Australia revealed strong views against homosexual relationships following the attack, with one sheikh leaving the country after the prime minister ordered an immediate review of his visa.

Don’t underestimate Muslims’ ability to try and dodge the truth of what their faith teaches, though.

Young Muslims from the western Sydney suburb of Auburn say that while homophobia is a problem, it is not limited to the Muslim community.

Nobody said that it is. But it’s notable which community is most prepared to put homophobic attitudes into instituted violence.
