You’ve almost got to feel sorry for legacy media journalists: the more they try and ramp up hysteria against the course-correction of Western democracies, the further they’ve got to reach for hyperbole to try and demonise the centre-right. Hard right, far right, ultra-far-right (I’m not making that up). What next? ‘Super-dooper-ultra-mega-hardcore-far-extreme-radical-right-with-bells-on’?
The legacy media are not just scraping the bottom of the barrel, as the Alternative for Germany party scores a huge electoral success, they’ve dug through the heads and six feet into the soil underneath. Even the supposedly conservative the Australian was breathlessly gasping about ‘the Third Reich’.
The far-right AfD party and its nationalist regional leader Ulrich Siegmund are promising to trigger a political earthquake with victory in Saxony-Anhalt on Sunday – the first time an extremist party has gained power at a state level since the fall of the Third Reich […] “the new Nazi party”.
It’s all a bit silly, when they’re trying to hype up so much hysteria against a centre-right party whose policies wouldn’t have raised an eyebrow 20 years ago.
But that hasn’t stopped the hysteria, now that the AfD has sailed to a crushing 44.5 per cent of the vote. Cue demented screaming from the legacy media newsrooms.
The AfD took 44.5 per cent of the vote after the mainstream conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU) collapsed to only 18.5 per cent, according to an initial exit poll. It was by far its best result at any regional election to date and a catastrophe for the centrist parties.
This, in a normal democracy, would mean an easy cruise to an overwhelming majority. But we in the West don’t live in normal democracies any more: we live in the shadow of the Long March through the Institutions, where even once-centre-right parties are now in thrall to the left. Consequently, the supposedly ‘centre-right’ CDU (you know: the party who flooded Germany with millions of Third World rapists, shut down its safe and reliable nuclear energy programme and drove some of the biggest industrialists out of the country) is all-too-ready to ally itself with the dregs of communism in order to cling to power.

The severely weakened CDU would have to try to assemble a majority of its own with support from Die Linke, a radical leftist party it has previously ostracised.
The vote is also a clear sign that the CDU’s dominance of German politics is coming to an ignominious end.
Siegmund also hailed Friedrich Merz, the highly unpopular CDU chancellor, as a “great election campaigner on our behalf” […]
Such a result would be a personal humiliation for Merz, who was advised to almost entirely avoid the campaign trail for fear his personal unpopularity might bolster the AfD. The CDU’s share of the vote halved compared with its performance at Saxony-Anhalt’s last state election in 2021, when it narrowly fended off the AfD.
So, what is it about the AfD that makes them the “new Nazi Party”?

As state leader in Saxony-Anhalt, Ulrich Siegmund wants to permit homeschooling, pare back the government-funded media and end the ‘asylum’ rort.
Other policies include:
Re-migration, mass deportations of foreigners, largely from the Middle East and Ukraine, with deportations from “minute one” and mandatory community work for asylum seekers statewide with benefit cuts for non-compliance. Separate classes for children of parents with only temporary residence, plus security guards at “problem schools” (meaning the ones full of violent, intolerant Muslims and Africans) and banning rainbow flags in schools. Cutting funding for party-affiliated foundations and “democracy promotion” (in other words, ending the same scam as USAID). €1,500 driver’s-license subsidy for apprentices and vocational trainees. Shrinking the size of government by cutting ministries. Setting up a state-parliament inquiry into the Covid pandemic.
Now do you get why the uniparty and their legacy media bootlickers are so terrified.
