Stupid Rules Make No Sense at All

Table of Contents

The nonsensical, illogical and ridiculous rules just keep piling in. The regime has now decided that because the hospitals are being overrun with sick vaccinated and boosted people, they can now allow Covid positive health workers to return to work.

Critical healthcare workers who have Covid-19 can now return to work at hospitals even if they are still returning positive tests.

The change was announced by Director of Public Health Doctor Caroline McElnay on Tuesday.

McElnay outlined two pathways available for critical health care workers who had tested positive for Covid-19, both involving the healthcare worker returning to work before their 10 days of home isolation had finished.

“As our case numbers increase, large numbers of staff members are being required to self-isolate”, McElnay said at Tuesday’s Covid-19 press conference.

“One arrangement put in place to address this allows staff members with Covid-19 to return to work earlier than usual, if a critical health service would have to stop functioning their absence.”

McElnay said if a positive healthcare worker was to return to work early, they would have to meet “strict criteria” and safety measures would be put in place to protect the healthcare worker, their patients and their colleagues.

“The staff member’s wellbeing would be checked daily, and if they develop symptoms or their symptoms worsen, they will stand down”, McElnay said.

A Covid-positive healthcare worker would only be able to return to work without any stand-down period if all other options had been exhausted, but would only work in a ward with Covid-positive patients, she said.

Stuff

So let’s get this straight: hundreds of perfectly healthy health workers have been sacked because they refused the vaccine but now the hospitals are short of workers so they are allowing Covid-positive workers to keep on working. All at the same time as continuing to lock unvaccinated staff out of the workforce, who could just as easily follow the same “strict criteria”.

It is a nonsense. My missus can’t get a haircut, apparently because of the health risk, but Covid-positive health staff are good to go? It is farcical.

The unvaccinated are still being shunned from society when all the real-world evidence now shows that Covid has become a disease of the vaccinated. When you measure cases per 100,000 the vaccinated are 2.5 times more likely to get Covid:

It makes no sense for the regime to continue to use vaccine and mask mandates. It is now obvious to all, including Blind Freddy, that neither mandate has worked, either in preventing people from contracting Covid or in preventing transmission.

The chart above and the change in rules show that mandates were never about health: they were about control. It makes zero sense to have mandates AND allow Covid-positive workers into the health sector. It can no longer be – if it ever was – about health.

The same goes for the ridiculous situation at the border where unvaccinated travellers are still required to go through MIQ when there are tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands of people in the community, most of whom are fully vaccinated, that are Covid positive. Again this situation is no longer (if it ever was) about health.

That means it is just spite preventing the regime from relaxing mandates and MIQ altogether. Pure, unadulterated, evil, malicious spite, being visited on people for daring to think for themselves and not complying.

How’s all that compliance working out for you all anyway? You got jabbed to keep your job, but the businesses that employ you are faltering. You got jabbed so you can travel, but you still aren’t travelling. You got jabbed so you wouldn’t get sick, but you are all getting sick. How’s it all working out?

The unvaccinated will NEVER forget and most won’t forgive what has been done to us. Everyone had a choice not to discriminate but most did. But now, as a result of that discrimination, New Zealand has become a nasty, spiteful nation, unpleasant to live in. Jacinda Ardern did that, those who discriminated against their own friends, mates, family and customers did that, and we won’t forget it.

I will never use the services or give my cash willingly to those who discriminated. Those businesses and former friends are dead to me. I am serious, I will NEVER forget what was done.

I will NEVER forget which politicians were cowards and took the easy route, refusing to stand for freedoms and rights. You simply can’t trust them. They took your rights and freedoms and exchanged them for permissions. We see you, and we now turn our backs on you. You cannot be trusted ever again.

This has never been about health. It has always been about control. I love freedom more than a cup of coffee, or a haircut, or a restaurant meal. I reject the control, and I live with freedom in my life.

Stick your control and your rules where the sun doesn’t shine. Don’t tread on me and I won’t get in your grille. The time for patience is over. The time for kindness is over.

If you seek to restrict my freedoms and rights then I will tell you loudly and often what I think of you, to your face. Don’t like that? Then don’t tread on me.
