Labour and the teachers’ unions are angry and upset because they don’t like the Government’s numbers on the number of kids failing at mathematics, preferring their numbers which still show 58% of year-eight kids are failing.
JD Vance was repeatedly described as “weird” by pundits and politicians. I guarantee you that every leftist talk show will be repeating it. It’s just another attempt at demonizing or “othering” normal conservatives.
Wealth taxes tend to yield low revenue, while dragging down economic growth. But they do make for good politics, especially in election years; envy commands votes.
If the Western world cannot recognise the battle it is engaged in, the fight is already lost. It’s time to wake up and take back what is rapidly being stripped away.

This is about the authorities prosecuting government critics like me on fabricated charges, banning our books, and censoring our political speech. Once a government starts doing that, the protections in its constitution no longer matter.
Remaining on the sidelines carries its own risks.
