Just got another ‘Newsletter’ from the Teaching Council with a rant from Meihana Durie. the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Maori, Massey University giving me a revised and incomplete ‘history’ of the Maori language and telling me how racist New Zealand was and still is.
Glad I am not working in a job controlled by the politically captured Teaching Council anymore.
I agree that systemic racism is alive and well in New Zealand, but NOT in the way he describes it.
It is time we stop giving the race hustlers like Meihana Durie a pass and remove ALL racist legislation and make ALL racism a thing of the past.
