It’s so nice to see you people standing for your rights! I hope you forgive me some side thoughts I can not let go for a while already. It’s an incredible experience to come from a place ruled by the dictator (Russia) to where I thought was a democratic state with human rights respected, and all of a sudden to become a witness to another dictatorship being born.
An all so cuddly and “let’s be nice to each other” dictatorship. The signs of what’s coming are terrifying, as I have seen it all before.
To see once again that laws mean nothing, as they can be changed in one day to serve the governmental narrative, to see the censorship in media and internet, to see a dramatic decline in education. It’s the vast problem of yours, guys: if you don’t start to pay more attention to education starting from primary right now, you will lose your future.
Your kids are loaded with nonsense and propaganda instead of science, math, literacy and history. And they cannot filter it themselves. They learn about “white supremacy” without being taught the true history of your beautiful country with all the dramatic and glorious events that had happened.
They don’t know their past, cannot learn from its mistakes and also good things, and don’t see the future. It leaves them anxious with many questions and without answers. They don’t have the solid ground to stand on when they are adults.
One day their generation will be in charge, left alone to deal with the problems from today, absolutely helpless and incompetent.
If you don’t start teaching them critical thinking, don’t equip them with systematic knowledge, the future of this country does not look bright.
I just hope one day this nightmare we’re all facing now will come to an end, and we all will finally lead free and productive lives for a better future.
