The Duck Test.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is you know who.

Why were the trespass notices withdrawn?

I think they held up their finger in the breeze and found that the public sentiment was not in agreement with this spiteful, immature kneejerk action.

Will this latest display of ineptitude be enough to have Mallard removed? Unfortunately, probably not, given the pliability of the current leader of the nats (did you notice the lack of capitals?).

While I have no time for the present government, much of their “success” has come as a result of the disarray, disunity and downright wokeness of the main opposition party. ACT, while it hasn’t performed as well as it might, has at least shown some signs of internal fortitude.

Ah, the nature of politics. The necessity to keep one’s powder dry. Light the lot up. I say.
