Today’s face of the day Labour MP Tamati Coffey has had a winge about NZ Legacy media. According to him, it is unacceptable to refer to a famous New Zealand filmmaker who has gotten an overseas award as a “Kiwi”. He called it  “institutional racism” because in a local story about a non-famous filmmaker they were referred to as a Maori filmmaker not a Kiwi filmmaker.
