Stuff Up of the day

Table of Contents

From a reader: This morning’s Stuff had a prominent article by “Stuff sports reporters” that stated “Wales have never beaten the All Blacks” which, apart from being grammatically incorrect (Wales is a singular nation, so it should be “Wales has never”) is factually incorrect.

Wales has beaten the All Blacks three times, including the first ever meeting in 1905, 1935 and most recently in 1953. I commented on the Stuff site, pointing out this simple fact. Of course they didn’t bother posting the comment, making and acknowledging the correction, they simply fixed their school-boy error and ignored my comment – probably a few others were made too.

Here are the before and after screenshots, as I thought they’d probably do that, the spineless, lazy weasels.
